The Cupertino-based tech giant, Apple is known for manufacturing some of the best smartphones in the industry. Apple recently discontinued its iPhone 5S and launched iPhone SE in the same garb with more powerful features and world has gone gaga over the same. Now, the world handset market is speculating over the upcoming iPhone 7 Plus that is to be launched in the third quarter of the year 2016. There have been a lot of speculations regarding the iPhone 7 Plus, however, as the launch date nears most specs have been confirmed by general consensus. Here is a brief overview of the device that will take the legacy of iPhones forward.
Design
The design of the upcoming mobiles has been subject to most speculations and rumours on the internet. However, it is to be expected that the design of the new device will remain the same as iPhone 6 with subtle changes to the rear panel. If the rumours are to be believed, the antenna bands on the rear panel will be moved to sides, top and bottoms of the new device. It is also expected that the device will come with an astonishing 6.1mm profile, which will be obtained by removing the audio jack and using a slimmed lightning port.
Display
This handset will be coming with the same 5.5-inch display that featured on the last generation iPhone 6s Plus. It will also feature the same resolution viz. 750 x 1334 pixels with Retina Display panel enhancing the whole viewing experience. The display of this handset will be equipped with an oleophobic coating to prevent fingerprint smudging. Also, it will feature the revolutionary 3D touch feature that was initiated with iPhone 6S.
Performance and Battery Life
It is expected that the next smartphone from Apple will come with the same A9 and M9 combination from iPhone 6S. However, we can also expect it to feature a better processor that could be an A9X as observed in past trends of the brand. One can expect tha processor to be a 2 GHz dual core unit accompanied with 3 GB of RAM, which means a great improvement to an already smooth performance. The battery of the handset might also receive a bump with a 3000 mAh battery unit featuring in the handset.
Camera Technology
Apple smartphones have always been known for their amazing imaging prowess thanks to the iSight camera technology. The iPhone 7 will also feature the same iSight camera with 12 mp camera that featured on the iPhone 6S. On the front panel, this handset will come flaunting a 5 Megapixels snapper that will this iPhone in selfie smartphone category.
Connectivity
On the connectivity front, this single SIM smartphone will provide both 4G LTE and 3G connectivity to its users. It also comes with other connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Lightning port, NFC and GPS.
Verdict
The new Apple iPhone 7 Plus is currently far from being launched and all the informations provided above should be taken with a pinch of salt. However, as and when it comes it is a given that the device will happen to be the best in the market.
